When will I receive my funds?

How do I know if I’m ready to receive my funds?

If your status in the FTX Claims Portal shows as “Approved,” you’re ready to receive your funds.

Which disbursement group am I in?

Your group is determined by the FTX Claims Portal. Please check there for specific timelines and further details.

How will I receive my funds?

If eligible for USD: Funds will be sent to your Go Account.

For restricted countries with no fiat or custody support: You can receive your disbursement as goUSD or USDC.

What is a Go Account?

Unlike other crypto wallets, Go Accounts are cold custody wallets that can hold multiple assets, including fiat and cryptocurrencies. Go Accounts, which connect directly to BitGo’s Go Network, connect you to other enterprises, platforms, and exchanges, enabling a secure and instant way to allocate, trade, and settle assets. I no longer have access to the email I used for FTX. What should I do?

Contact FTX Support at support@ftx.com to update your email address to one you can access. You’ll need this to set up your BitGo account.

What if my status in the BitGo email differs from the FTX Claims Portal?

Contact FTX Support at ftxcreditors@bitgo.com for clarification.

Are there fees for using BitGo?

For depositing crypto into BitGo wallets: The first six months of custody are free for FTX creditors, after which standard custody fees apply. Please refer to the BitGo pricing guide for details.

For withdrawing fiat: A $30 wire withdrawal fee will be charged.

How long does it take to process withdrawals?

Domestic withdrawals: Typically 1-2 business days.

International withdrawals: Up to 3 business days, depending on the receiving bank.

Why is my KYC status showing as “Under Review?"

If you recently submitted KYC information for your institution, it may still be under review. Please allow some time for processing.

What if I need someone else at my business to attest to the Terms of Use?

You can add an authorized person in the Enterprise Settings section. They will receive an invitation email and can log in to attest.

Will taxes be deducted from my distribution?

The distribution that you receive may be subject to taxes. FTX Trading is responsible for withholding portions of your distribution for taxes where applicable. BitGo is not able to provide you with tax advice and has not withheld any portion of your distribution for taxes. You may contact FTX Trading at support@ftx.com if you have questions or need additional information.
